Concrete Powder began in 1990. Its founding publisher was Kevin Harris - who was a pro with Powell-Peralta at the time. Kevin's own Ultimate Skateboard Distribution provided the financial backing need to begin publishing. Concrete skateboard magazine - as it became known - launched numerous Canadian skaters and photographers. Concrete published 6 free issues every year which were distributed via Canadian skate shops. Sadly now defunct.
