In the spirit of the late 70's skateboard scene this is another example of let's build something for the kids - without actually asking any skaters what they want. Having built many backyard ramps I appreciate the thought that has gone into this. Of course this is an 'entirely new system of ramp construction' - to be fair most ramps in those days were fairly whippy, no flat bottom, no coping and no platform.
